I have a hard time believing that women actually want to wear a burka or a niqab.
I'm sure there is a guy who is "encouraging" women to want to wear this, if they don't one of the choices that you have listed might apply.

My contempt of the French reflects their contempt of Americans. I do applaude them though for the ban on the Burka, niqabs, ect as it is a matter of public safety not on a matter of religion. I am given to understand that the French don't even like a small visible cross around the neck (I could be wrong about that point).
