Religion, Phsycosis, Troubled past aside this is a tragic story.
I'm glad as I said earlier that the Jury didn't buy into all the sob story BS by this womans defense, it's quite obvious that
A) she has some major issues, and B) given her fear (justifiable) of losing her children in an ensuing divorce she probably wasn't a fit mother to begin with as judges tend to side with Mothers in custody cases unless there is reason not to.
Also all her claims of abuse/hardship throughout her life are unproven and probably more a cry for attention than real occurances

They shouldn't be. He still did it, no matter what happened. There is no reason to not punish him for what he did. Maybe it would give HER family some closure...
