Mr_Canada Mr_Canada: That said, I was very close to commending her for her response to a Conservative pundit's use of the word "Retard", but then she defended Rush Limbaugh's horrific and insulting use of the word, which made me disagree with her again. I'm not acquainted with this incident but if the mother of a Down's Syndrome baby says someone is okay I'd be inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. At the same time, kindly note that I am not a fan of the Oxycontin addict.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada: Basically, Rahm Emanuel called liberal activists who wanted to run ads against conservative Democrats "fucking retarded". In such a sort of offhand remark which I probably myself wouldn't overly react over. It was also in a closed off meeting. I did hear about this and I guess I just dismissed it as nothing unusual for chatter in a closed room. And I agree with Mr. Emanuel's assessment of liberal activists.  On the Limbaugh thing, yeah she probably cut him slack just for being a conservative. In any case, I detest political correctness so I see nothing wrong with Emanuel or Limbaugh but instead I find fault with the self-appointed censors who want to restrict what people can say.
