How they pick at the bones when their leader turns out to be a dud. Reaching for straws, going back to 2002-04. Iggy - king to carcass inside of a year. If you think he'll be resurrected, maybe in the next life. Not anytime in the next 4 years. Ranks right up there with Dion. "I can't wait to get back to the 'states...."no offense to the Beach Boys.

No, I'm just pointing out that Harper wasn't turning heads when he first took over and certainly didn't win his first time out. Were you calling for his head then?

Really? If Harper doesn't win a majority then I'd say his time will be up also. BTW, thanks for saying that you weren't calling for Harpers head just because he was polling in the 27% range and lost an election after 2 years as party leader. At least he was doing better then any of the other guys you voted for, who regardless of whether you were a PC loyalist or reform/alliance guy were all polling well below Iggy.

Doesn't say much about Iggy, does it?

A new party with very few roots in Canada is able to pull similar polling numbers than the "natural governing party of Canada".

New parties take time to develop and grow.

What's Iggy's excuse?

He's driving a bus that's has the strongest roots in this Country and yet, he's managed to drive it off the road and is close to falling off a cliff.

Doesn't say much about Harper that under his leadership that new party lost over 8% support nationally did it and the only reason it wasn't worse is the right wing had no other options to choose from. The left has 3 choices for their vote and a united left would over power a united right by a wide margin.

Iggy as a leader needs time to grow just as much as Harper did.

If he takes much longer the Liberal party will be a distant echo whispered on the wings of a fickle wind.
