Ok.. I give up.. if its ok with the good Bishop,, its ok with me.. c'est la vie... Back into line, you! Oh come on now... There's still the cover-up. Wafergate ..or whatever their calling it. I'm sure seconds into the video hitting the media, some reporter phoned up the PMO and demanded an answer to the burning question: did he eat it or didn't he? This deserves an investigation. Yank that blue-ribbon panel and get them working on this one immediately.

kenmore kenmore: You guys are missing the point.. do you know what the host (wafer) represents to Catholics.. Yup, spent 21 years of my youth following it. $1: him shoving it in his pocket was outragious and an insult to millions of Catholics around the world.. he should have known better than get in that position. If one is not Catholic then they cannot take the sacraments of the church. lets have some respect eh! It's really not that bad, in fact I doubt anybody in the world cares what Harper, the Canadian T-1000 does.... we're Canada afterall. Little brother to the US apparently and big brother to Sweeden. And I've seen plenty who walk up and don't take it, or they take it and walk away... some people are just ignorant and don't know any better. If nobody tells you, how ya gonna know? However, Something I do have an issue with is that one would think, for an important event like the passing away of a pretty important person to some people, you would think the Prime Minister of Canada of all people would do his homework before attending an important event. Sorta reminds me of Bush and some of his ignorant antics. Ignorant or not though, it's not the end of the world, and it's not that big of a deal.

All religion is bullshit, so this is kind of like arguing who'd win the fight: Aquaman or Godzilla?

kenmore kenmore: Praxius Praxius: llama66 llama66: really all this over what? whether he ate a communion wafer or not? really I don't like the man much, but if I'm going to go after him and his party I'd look something bigger than whether or not he ate a communion wafer. this whole affair is quite childish, is there not bigger problems in the world, like the death of Michael Jackson we should be worrying about? Michael Jackson? Not really much more of a priority to say the least..... he's dead. He ain't getting anymore deader and will be dead tomorrow and the next day. No offense, I just think we're all going to be dealing with constant MJ news and crap all over the tv and radio and by the time the year is over and we run out of things to hear, it'll be the one year anneversary of his death and it'll start all over again for another year, much like 9/11. Back to Harper and the situation in debate, indeed, it's not all that important.... he can always go to confession. Wakka Wakka You guys are missing the point.. do you know what the host (wafer) represents to Catholics.. him shoving it in his pocket was outragious and an insult to millions of Catholics around the world.. he should have known better than get in that position. If one is not Catholic then they cannot take the sacraments of the church. lets have some respect eh! I'm not missing a frigging thing, can you PROVE Harper pocketed the wafer? to me its just as likely he ate the thing. I'm not Catholic, so I guess that means I have no idea about the holy communion, I guess the only the catholics break the bread of Christ and drink the wine symbolizing his blood. We Protestants also have communion. but to make such a bullshit and baseless accusation against a man because no one saw him eat the wafer. No one sees me eat, yet somehow I still get fatter, I guess I put the pizza in my pocket or my program. this is utter tripe, people need to give their head a shake, this is not news, this is drivel, utter drivel.

I hadn't thought of that, but given the size of Harper's ass, I'm betting he ate it too, the fat bastard. It probably just angered up Fat Stevie's appetite enough that, straight away, he made a run for the border for a couple of Beef Burritos and a Chili-Cheese Nachos.

He just dipped it into his pocket for a minute, that's where the peanut butter packet was! THEN he ate it!

Those communion wafers taste like paper mache. The priest from my son's old school told a humourous tale about one of his uncles, also a priest, who had to serve several small parishes in rural Spain.
Now, by the time he was finished his day he had consumed a fair bit of communion wine and had not much to eat. The police pulled him over on his way home because he was driving a little eratically. He was over the legal limit. So much for transubstantiation.
Father Pru, is one of those liberal priests who believes that the Protestant Churches have it right when it comes to the act of communion being symbolic rather than literal. He also believes that clergy should go back to choosing celibacy based on personal choice, rather than having it imposed.

Wow, you totally suckered me, Shep...I was sure you were gonna say that, having had too much to drink and nothing to eat, the priest took down the whole parish supply of wafers in a bout of alcohol-induced binge eating.

More importantly, with Ignatieff as a Russian Orthodox and 'Cat Meat' Kinsella being a Catholic, how long till we hear they they both don't share the Liberal views on same sex marriage?
Not only do neither support same sex marriage, but the pure act of homosexuality is considered a 'sin'.

When I used to attend church, the host was always a loaf of bread one of the parishoners made. It got dunked into the wine and given to the worshipper to consume. Christ always spoke in parables and metaphors....and the catholics took this sermon literally
