Don't be so quick to judge conservatives. There will be, of course, the usual asshats who will want to toss the election to Obama because of this, but most conservatives, such as myself, will see a young lady taking responsibility for her actions and not killing her child just because it was inconvenient. Her life probably won't be easy, but at least statistically speaking she will be less likely to commit suicide by having the child than by aborting it.

As to what is said in Matthew 5:39, it is in the context of reducing violence and saying to not immediately meet force with force as was traditional in that time.

Did you ever stop to think WHY Obama is attacking Palin's experience? She is running for VP and Obama is running for POTUS! Palin has more exectutive experience that Obama. AND if you realize she has already negotiated with Canada for a Natural Gas Pipeline to run to the lower 48 states, is Commander in Chief of the Alaska National Guard/has gone to KUWAIT to visit the Alaskan National Guard and their Commander and has RUSSIA on the left side of her, I would say she has MORE foreign experience than Obama!!!!! Giving "fantasy speeches" and "touring" the Middle East and Germany does not give one foreign experience.

Anyone who seriously thinks Obama is more qualified is just a pin head.

I'm not judgig Conservatives, but there is a percentage of the Base that doesn't support McCain who will now feel the need to vote for him because of attacks like this..

My statements aren't a criticism of you in particular Bart (or any other Christians on CKA), but it was hypocrisy such as this that made me turn my back on Christianity as a whole. I was raised a good Christian lad and went to church and Sunday school and all that, but once I was old enough to question the inherent hypocrisy I saw all around me (Sunday Christians, people bragging about how much they put in the collect plate, the dichotomy between Jesus and an eye for and eye), I was really turned off organized religion and I've never gone back.
