ridenrain ridenrain:
Tell that to the Muslim womans events.
Try and forbid them from wearing "religious" costumes.

You really are being a horrid little trol, Neopundit.

And if they ban the headscarves, good. The are banning bibles and "religious symbols", according to sasquatch himself. They don't say Muslim good, Christian bad. You are the fucking troll. And so is sasquatch for adding his post that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE THREAD.

So go police another thread.

Just because I don't have an all encompassing hatred for the Chinese doesn't make me a troll. Nobody offers up a good argument, that isn't my fault.

sasquatch2 sasquatch2:
Just heard on the radio----some Italian RC group is protesting the PRC prohibition of Bibles and religious insignia in the Olympics---especially the Olympic village. They cite security concerns.....attack of the Jesuits?

The PRC is just begging to be boycotted.

Only a right-wing nutjob would think that disassociating religion and a sporting event is a bad thing.

Sorry, but what do you call someone who defends the actions of a totalitarian regime to restrict the thoughts of people it invited to attend a sporting event?

Are you not telling us you approve of taking religion out of sporting events?
Or does that only apply to Christians and not Muslims?
You can't say one religion is acceptable and the other is not.

Thoughts? I see Bibles and religious insignias, both physical objects. How'd you manage to twist thoughts out of this?

And how are we on Beijing 2008?
