Your life hasn't been particularly pleasant so far with some of the things you've posted here about your family problems and your work issues. As such you should be one of the first to say that this white privilege you're talking about is mostly an illusion. No one gives a fuck about you, or me. You're not receiving a cheque from the government every second Tuesday based on your skin colour and neither am I. We aren't eligible for a lot of other programs either for job training and housing and that's because we are male and white and not one of the oppressed (allegedly) groups that are eligible.

Privilege goes along with money and very little else. You've bought into something that might exist on certain levels in the United States but for the most part doesn't in Canada.

I'd actually consider allowing more Muslim women to immigrate here for their own safety. Kind of like what the underground railroad did for escaped slaves from the southern states I the 19th century. Because he called us all racists, claimed (in the absence of any real evidence) that the church burnings were the work of the Klan, and then scuttled off when the culprit was revealed to be some black guy. I did the same thing when jj2424 was mocking all of us, even the other CKA conservatives, with his insulting bullshit. I doubt roman has the character to withdraw his accusations and apologize so if he doesn't then boot him.

Never had this alleged white male privilege work once to my benefit in my entire life. Not when I was young, and certainly not now that I'm older and my existence has pretty much collapsed all around me. Any benefits I received were from living in an advanced culture and society that had been built by generations worth of work and effort. It certainly didn't get bestowed upon me due to my gender and skin colour.

I wonder what the veterans who got their asses shot off fighting Hitler and the Japanese, or the remnants of the generation from the Great Depression, think about this idea that they've gone through life with everything handed to them on a silver platter. Probably just another reason for them to look at people younger than them and shake their heads in dismay at how shallow and worthless the generations that followed them are.

I'm more than willing to put more direct focus on the socioeconomics instead of blaming some group of impovrished people. That is exactly what I want. Most race problems are issues with the demented system we have that grinds on the bone of a constantly struggling underclass.

I'd rather address a person for the influence brought by their money as opposed to their race.

Keep in mind though as you're appalled by alleged white male privilege you're saying this in a thread started by an asshole who blamed some church burnings on all white people everywhere, and who won't have the guts to retract or apologize for what he said even after I revealed that the arsons were committed by a black guy.
