I'd suggest that at least 50% of the genuine evil in this world originates in corporate boardrooms. The ones that will suffer will be any VW workers that lose their jobs if the stock tanks and sales dry up. In true typical form the execs that thought it up will be golden parachuted to complete safety and then on to another corporate position where they'll behave exactly the same. Someone like Ken Lay was the exception when it comes to a crooked executive being punished. The rest of them usually skate, the way they always skate in this miserable world we've created.

Until we take away corporate citizenship and start throwing actual people from those corporations in jail, and fining people directly our world will continue to decay.

It's pretty much all over and we're just running out the clock. Like Leonard Cohen said, everybody knows the war is over and everybody knows the good guys lost. Only those with a vested interest in the system still have the energy and morale left to defend it's illusions.
