MLSE is also looking at permanently banning them from all of their events as well.........except Leafs games. They will be required to attend with out any visual impairments over their head.

bootlegga bootlegga:

He should find a good lawyer and sue City News & Hunt for a few million bucks for character assassination

How did they assassinate his character? By asking him very reasonable questions and filming the result? IF any one assassinated his character, it was him. Except he doesn't have one to assassinate.

Lemmy Lemmy:
I feel greasy for defending the mook piece of shit. I want to punch him in the face after 2Cdo is done punching him in the face. But I can't shake the feeling that Hydro One is the bigger villain in this tale.

I once played with a band at a beer tent and when we were tuning up I said to the other guitar player "the crowd's gonna go wild and women will show their tits"...and some woman in the beer tent yelled "HEY, watch what you say". I didn't realize the mics were hot and everyone could here our chatter on stage. Maybe I'm lucky to have my job. Maybe we all are.

If he was wearing something that identified him as an employee of Hydro One I would agree with his firing, but this could be challenged and should be.

But he and his buddies still deserved to be publicly shamed and the footage would have been even sweeter if someone thumped him and his buddy who made the original comment.

I'm okay with him challenging the firing and getting his job back. The cost and worry is at least some sort of punishment and humiliation. In fact as I mentioned before, I bet that's what happens.

Calgary man charged with stunting after FHRITP interruption during CBC interview

And there you go. Now the police are enforcing good manners. Charged with something called "stunting", wasn't even driving the vehicle.

I heard snippet of an interview with Peter McKay yesterday, who apparently was a criminal lawyer before he followed his dad into politics. He said that because of the aggressive and potentially threatening nature of the incidents and the degrading language used, these are potentially criminal assaults and all that needs to happen is for some woman to press assault charges. You my not like it but you cannot use threatening language with anyone, ever.

She didn't once ask if she could record it or tell him the camera was still on. For someone like me who deals with media quite often, I know never to take anything for granted, but he is/was a network engineer - how many times do you think he has talked to a reporter before? Every time I've been interviewed, they always asked if it was okay to record - ALWAYS.

They have to get your consent to legally film you - otherwise they are the ones breaking the law. Ever wonder why B-roll never shows people faces? It's because the camera person would have to chase them down and get them to sign consent forms. I didn't see him give his consent to be recorded (although she does ask the first guy).

She also didn't bother to note anywhere in that report that he didn't actually say FHRITP and the way her 'interview' is set-up, it makes it appear that he did say it. Sure he says some other objectionable stuff and admitted he thought FHRITP is funny, but none of that is a crime.

I agree the guy is a schmuck, but nothing he did was illegal and coupled with her lack of professionalism, he probably has a case to sue CityTV.

You don't have to be driving the vehicle. You can be walking on the sidewalk, and be 'stunting'. All you have to do is create a distraction for drivers, or pedestrians. Hanging out the passenger window, car surfing, flashing your boobies from the sidewalk - these are all 'stunting'.

Driving your motorcycle off a big ramp and over 12 buses with lots of explosions as you fly over them - that's 'stunt driving'. ;)
