Doctors circumcise boys for health reasons. There is no medical grounds for female genital mutilation, other than evil monkeys run those societies.
BS there is NO medical evidence it's beneficial. NONE.
Boys that are uncircumcised are much more likely to get UTI's, STD's, etc.
95% of boys that have an penile infection are uncircumcised.
Almost ALL males with penile cancer are uncircumcised.
I'm not at all religious yet had my son circumcised the day after he was born. Looks better and reduced his risk of having medical issues as a child and as an adult.
Well I can't fault you because you actually posted studies you feel back your case.

It's refreshing to see that on this topic for a change.
However I question if your only reading the parts that are relevent to the argument you wish to present
for example with your first source:
"In 1975, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) stated in no uncertain terms that "there is no absolute medical indication for routine circumcision of the newborn." In 1983, the AAP and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) restated this position. In 1999 and again in 2005, the AAP again restated this position of equivocation."
The AAP is a very scholarly lot and their stance speaks volumes more then some studies that have not yet gone through the peer review process from what I have seen.
As for your second link I'll see your study with two others:
http://www.circumstitions.com/Utis.html#causehttp://www.circumstitions.com/Utis.html#israelThe truth is it's a heavily charged field with proponents of circumcision charged with providing proof of a religious practice over those simply trying to find out if a claim is true. Guess who's more likely to stretch the facts?
Not to mention the whole urinary tract infection bit has always boggled me because GIRLS GET MORE INFECTIONS THEN BOYS!! Yet how often do we see studies done trying to reduce that risk in girls? Seems like an actual doctor would be more apt to study that first.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_do_women_ ... s_than_menSeriously though thanks for posting some actual studies and reasoning behind your argument. I may disagree with your assessment but thanks.
