I agree. If he's locked up in rehab for 18 months that's better than prison for 12. I don't think he's locked up tho. He can leave, then they report to his parole officer, who decides whether to revoke, then it goes to court where they find that Gladue rules and he can't be locked up just for violating his parole.

IF the parole officer can find the time to even mind, because there are another 279 which need his/her attention, and s/he is the only one that has so little cases...

So what happens if this shit stain assaults another person while he's serving his 'conditional sentence'? Does he go to jail then, or is it more, 'he's a poor injun', so he should be allowed to roam free amongst the unsuspecting populace?
