Read the link I posted. Don't forget there are no gun shops all over the UK. Possession of a weapon is a crime, and there aren't that many. Not even now. They rather use fire to destroy buildings that innocent people live in. Or mug injured people who are only hoping to get a hand. But no guns.

And to defend yourself from what is going on I would rather have a gun then a stick.

Generally speaking, I'm not terribly keen on uncontrolled gun prolifieration, however, part of me is curious about open carry and whether that would actually bring down casualties and crime or increase it.
