Circumcision for male has been a tradition. The issue has something to do with human rights. Lloyd Schofield, a San Francisco citizen, has effectively compiled 7,700 correct signatures in his plan to legally ban male circumcision. It was confirmed by election officials that his proposal will be on the city's Nov ballot. But U.S. Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) has countered with his own bill. The Religious and Parental Rights Defense Act of 2011 seek to stop San Francisco and other towns from prohibiting the practice. Here is the proof:
