It's all about the tradition. When you bring it to religion, eggs have nothing to do with Easter. Just like Burqa's have nothing to do with the religion of Islam. They do have to do with culture, just like eggs have to do with the culture of the west.

Like i said before, the biggest proponents of this shit are "self proclaimed" progressive whites, who for the most part only have a three year degree in the liberal arts. They feel excluded in our society(and rightly so), so they project this onto other groups.

HUH K Now I am even more confused by Easter.....Never actually knew what Easter Eggs represented, never had em as a kid, just got told by my Father what Easter was all about....so the egg thing screwed me up. Freaking Christians and there weird shit about giving wierd shit....It isnt religious at all....so why the name change....Damn I am even more confused!!!!!

All I know....Is what I was told about Easter and everyone eats either Ham or Turkey.

We eat ham to remember the last supper, which was a kosher meal. Eggs were just co opted from the pagan slavs...like so many other traditions in Christianity ....keeping old traditions made the transition from old religion to new easier. New names and explanations were given to old practices. I don't know where the rabbit fits in though.
