This cop on the other hand can have an immmediate and severe impact on someone's life. One would hope that the city reviews its hiring practices, and having Officer Bubbles reassigned to a place where he has minimal contact with the public.

It's ok to disrespect people, especially police, call them all kinds of names and blow soap into their face as an act of "protest".

officer bubbles did his job, she was a protestor that lost sight of her message and chose to be an instigator. emotions can be high at a protest, she showed the other protestors that it was ok to harras the police. if the police exhibited a lack of control over over her, what would the next protestor do? spit in the police officer's face?

Did you actually watch the video? You call that harassment? You call that instigating? Did you hear what the police officer said? He clearly overreacted and there's no call for that kind of behaviour in this type of situation. An arrest, if made, and brought before a court should result in him being sternly lectured by a judge. I sincerely hope that his commanding officer, upon seeing this video, gave him a strong reprimand. He deserves it.

i have no doubt that touching a police officer with anything during a protest can be grounds for arrest.

bubbles, cream pie, confetti, water, even blowing in their face could be a bad idea.

she got what she deserved....a stern warning....and when that wasn't enough, she got arrested.

this guy should get a medal for being so upfront with her, he could have stayed quiet and just arrested her without warning. instead, she was given an opportunity to stop.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I say there's no excuse for an officer behaving like he did. Definitely conduct unbecoming of an officer. Nobody should have to put up with that kind of abuse. Officers like that should be stripped of their badge.
