EyeBrock EyeBrock:
I agree andy. Low balling security makes it meaningless. It's just a waste of money with security 'officers' that can barely speak English and from a country with strong links to the Jihad.

It's pretty obvious to me that this policy poses significant risk, why can't the Feds see that?

Because we've reached the tipping point where anyone in the West that points out even the blatantly obvious is immediately labeled a racist!

I couldn't even bring an unsealed tub of protein powder back from Afghanistan. And I know how strict the RMPs are in their searches of anything being shipped from Afghanistan and personnel returning home. A load of shit I think!

Holy crap! Wouldn't that be a significant volume of cocaine?

Wrong continent there, bro.

That post was referring to the story in the link EB posted. That large a quantity in the restricted personal storage space available on a destroyer strikes me as a challenge to keep hidden.

Well if a British tabloid says Canadians are involved it must be true. They are known world wide for their impartial, in depth, and accurate reporting. 8O

It was actually the BBC. But it was a headline that was meant to grab your attention for a nothing story.

The totally impartial, indepth and accurate CTV re-ran the story so it could have a free stab at our military.

Here's a much more news worthy story!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/musi ... eview.html

and this http://www.thegumpathon.com/

which amazingly I as well as thousands of others were only made aware of when it was highlighted during the above concert!

I wasn't talking about freaking helicopters anyway. Note I said planes - you experts should be able to understand the distinction. It was just a joke about our lack of heavy air transport.

Judging by the reaction I'd say it was a dumb joke...

Not that it matters but the article says it is from the Sunday Times. Not sure if that is a tabloid thuogh. And you are right about CTV,although I prefer it to CBC

The CBC ran the story as well.
