Thanks for the link, I've spent the last 30 minutes speed reading it. T states a clear case for women's rights. However, I wasn't able to find any references to the rates of injured and killed women at the hands of underground abortion providers.
I don't know those numbers, which is why I posed the question.

The only reference I remember was one that was provided by a CKA member in an old thread( I wish I could find it) that suggested that the average illegal abortionist was a sympathetic doctor that would either falsify the paperwork to get the woman into a hospital abortion, or they would very conscientiously create a clinic at their own facilities.
That's clearly not the Supreme Court's interpretation as presented in the judgement. They make the case quite plainly that this is an issue of women's health and access to qualified practitioners.
