I agree with you Brock, to get so worked up over a figurehead that has no bearing on his day to day life is beyond me. He's entitled to his opinion and even to start some sort of movement or referendum to rid us of the onarchy, still military tradition rns deep as you and I know. I have nothing but respect for those that follow it.

Just noticed in today's newspaper a photo of the naval shipyards in Halifax with a large sign on one of the buildings indicating "Canada's East Coast Navy". Having a deep desire to maintain our true Canadian Naval history, what is or was wrong with HMCS DOCKYARDS. I suppose we also have a "Canada's West Coast Navy". Bring back the "Royal Canadian Navy" with proper naval uniforms and traditions and scrap the unification diaster.
