That's the important part, as with ANY addiction, you need to WANT to stop.
And not only that, you need to stop for all the right reasons.
Why would a drug addict want to stop?... costs, health, it messing with family life and/or work.
But before the addict says he/she wants to stop because it's an ADDICTION and it messes with their minds, he's not ready.
I was never a big consumer but I've seen what a drug addiction can do.
When I was 18/19, I went out with a girl who had a problem.
Broke up with her because I realized at one point that it was as if I was going out with 2 different girls. Really loved the girl, but really hated the high girl.

I can relate to you man, it's not an easy situation to deal with by any means. Hope everything worked out for the better?
