Proculation Proculation:
War NEVER helps economy. Why spend wealth to destroy wealth when you can create wealth ?

It helped the economy once, because it gave jobs to millions of people who didn't have one, and employed a lot of women for the first time ever. Many of those jobs are now so technical that only certain kinds of skilled tradespeople can get into them because our weapons have become so much more complex.

Yes it created jobs. But it did not created wealth. It destroyed it.

I love Bill Hicks. I wish he were alive today to spew that kind of invective about today's scumbag politicians and media pundits.

I couldn't watch more than half of the Rush clip because he was being so much of a whiney crybaby when faced with the people that are affected by his kind of ignorant, selfish creed.

Listening to Mr. Obama and his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, on the weekend news shows I couldn't help but wonder if they really care about the average American. They seem preoccupied with going to the barricades against Republicans who wield little power or picking a fight with Rush Limbaugh, as if this is the kind of economic leadership Americans want!!!

They're trying to help the Average American, the Republicans are trying to stop them. Of course they criticize the Republicans. It's the only Logical thing to do.

OPP, that first clip was horrendously vulgar, and the second just had a bunch of yelling fanatics. I'm not sure what the point is that you are trying to make.

I think the topic of this thread should be changed to "Limbaugh opposes National Socialists' slide."

It's like we had opposite reactions. I couldn't listen to half the first clip and managed to go through all of the second.

National Socialists? Could you explain what you mean by that?

An even more accurate title would be "Limbaugh acts like his usual douche-bag self."

Nah. Everyone here with a triple-digit IQ will get it.

How do you listen to a selfish whiney prick act like a victim after he's said that potatoes are more important than women's rights? I'd have had to throw up in my mouth if I kept listening to that dreck.

The only reason I can listen to Bill Hicks' disgusting description of what he thinks of Rush Limbaugh is because Rush Limbaugh barely has any sense of humanity in him.

It just doesn't seem to make much sense as a Nazi reference, and I don't see what else it could refer to. I do seem to recall reading a description of the Republicans as National Socialists and the Democrats as International Socialists at one point. That was a fun read.

Probably because I find his style of humor appealing to my tastes. Like when he makes sarcastic remarks about women's rights, or what have you. Sometimes it is even funnier to watch reactions from the people who completely miss the joke.
