You simply cannot prove that he had this unique condition that only affects his English skills, before he ran for PM. His English skills became front and center and "poof" he suddenly had this "condition" that explained that and any one who didn't believe that were mean bullies who beat up on cripples.

The ability to speak clearly and express himself to English Canadians isn't "trival matters or personal body imperfections". English Canadians know this and that's why, among other reasons, why they reject him.

Ah, lets get back to Ritz. One of his own constituents died of the disease. Her son is pissed right off that the exceedingly inadequate Ritz made such tasteless and inappropriate jokes. The son also feels that there's a coverup going on because while his mother's case is still under investigation, nobody is doing any actual investigating.

Every interview with the families of victims has been very negative towards Ritz.

An apology doesn't cut it. The thin excuses that the Conservative spin machine is offering don't cut it. Ritz isn't competent enough to hold a minister's portfolio. He never was. Promoting such a dullard to such an important position brings Harper's judgement into question. Trying to cover for such a fool when the chickens come home to roost shows that Harper's judgement isn't just questionable, it's wholly lacking.
