People shouldn't be worried about something happening to McCain and the country being "left to the inexperienced." If Palin should ever become president, she'll do exactly what Obama did. She will name a VP who has foreign policy experience and everything will be fine.

ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

If Palin becomes president she'll have another kid.

Governor Palin was also runner up for Ms. Alaska. Obama did not even place in top 10.

You know outside of being kind of funny, you're right. That's probably exactly what she'd do.

Of what?

The only thing that worries me is tritium's increasingly unhealthy obsession with McCain's VP pick.

are you concerned for his well being?

westmanguy westmanguy:
Brilliant Brilliant move.

Say hello to President John McCain, and Vice-President Sarah Palin

And President Sarah Palin in 2012...

Poor Hillary :(

You nailed it, all the way around. I feel sad for Hillary because Hillary was the one to beat McCain in the general election and a lot of people knew it. Obama was hurting in the polls (and McCain just spiked the typical post-convention bounce Obama was counting on) and then he picked Biden as VP which - if you've noticed - has silenced the youth who were Obama's core supporters.

Hillary said some uncharacteristically nice things about Palin today on the news and disclaimered it by saying she 'didn't agree with all of her (Palin's) views". Which is a real softball coming from Hillary. Even the KCRA news guy said that was a real softball.

And Palin becomes a shoe-in for President in 2012. [B-o]

Obama distances himself from campaign’s criticism of Palin
$1:
Later in the day, Obama told reporters that the campaign’s early statement was “hair-trigger” and did not reflect his sentiments.

“I haven’t met her before. She seems like a compelling person. Obviously, a terrific story, personal story,” he said while touring a biodiesel plant in Monaca, Pennsylvania.

Obama said the choice of Palin was “one more indicator of this country moving forward” and a hit against the glass ceiling that has limited women’s advancement.

Hillary being a VP candidate wouldn't have helped that image. The Clintons embody entitlement. McCain is trying to demonstrate that there are Republicans left within the Republican Party, and that all diversity hasn't been purged by Bush and his master Sata.......Cheney

Sad if they are swinging over to vote for McCain just because she's a woman.

BTW, Happy Birthday McCain! [cheer] 72 yrs old.

------------------------------------------------------

The first thing the Obama camp is going to say is she doesn't have any experience - guess what - neither does Obama and he's at the top of the ticket!!!!!

Joe Biden is going to say she doesn't have any foreign policy experience - well guess what - neither does Barack Obama!

The DEMS are going to point out that she's just not strong enough - guess what - she has a 5 kids - the oldest of whom deplys to Iraq in about a month - that's more military experience than either Barack Obama or Joe Biden put together! Neither of whom have served in the military - yet some want to put them in charge of the military. I know what - to make up for their lack of military experience they will put US forces under the command of the United Nations. Won't that be grand!
