Bodah Bodah: Keep this in context of everything else, his resignation was accepted due to a long list of little fuck ups Harper said emphatically his resignation was accepted only for having left classified documents in improper place.

The defense for Omar Khadr is being denied documents from the Canadian government "for reasons of national security". And now we have documents "sensitive to national security" scattered hither and yon by MP's who could be convicted criminals or used car salepeople: http://www.canada.com/coquitlamnow/news ... 18c5c8d99dI wonder if Bernier's international travel perks have been lifted? I mean, he IS a security risk. Or better yet, maybe HE should change places with Khadr. But, true to its hypocrisy, the pundits figure the Cons will put Bernier back in cabinet in a few months.............

But he represents what the Cons desperately need to hang onto, and that's a Quebec seat. Now, if part of his resignation included having to resign as an MP.............

In all honesty though, if I were him I would date hot sexy dangerous women, travel the world and speak my mind and probably make a fool of the PM as well. I would spend taxpayer money as if it were...ummm...taxpayer money. So please vote for me in the next election. I promise not to leave classified documents at my girlfriends('s) houses.

the tories did a good job of it too only they laundered it through local ridings.. short memory mtbr? Now even former tory PMs are saying Harper is useless.. ie.Joe Clark doesn't get Stephen Harper, saying his real problem with the Prime Minister is that he doesn't know "where he really is" on certain issues.
"I've not had a prime minister before whom I didn't think I knew where he really was, what his real concerns were. I didn't always agree with him, but that's the situation I'm in ...," the former prime minister said yesterday in an interview with CTV Newsnet's Mike Duffy.
Speaking on the eve of the unveiling of his official prime ministerial portrait, Mr. Clark was critical of Mr. Harper, saying he doesn't agree with some of the directions in which he is taking the country.

kenmore kenmore: Joe Clark doesn't get Stephen Harper, saying his real problem with the Prime Minister is that he doesn't know "where he really is" on certain issues. The psychic connection between Harper and Bush is becoming sporadic as Barack Obama gains momentum........Harper only has an opinion of matters when the connection is working. In that, he accurately portrays himself as seen on Royal Canadian Air Farce when Craig Lauzon does his automaton imitation of the PM.
