I denounce all religious symbols. but National symbols are still prized in my opinion.

You could say... Canada is what I replace my religion with.

The Quran and the Bible are religious documents that mean NOTHING to me and shouldn't mean anything in my opinion. All just fairy tales. No one even follows what the books say anyway.

But a flag is a national object. And that is much more realistic to follow.

I also suggest using paper. The chemicals in flags nowadays, fuck that smells. Plus it burns too quickly sometimes. American flags are gone like THAT. Huge cloud of black course smoke, so hard to cook marshmallows over...

The point that I'm trying to get across is that you should understand why people get upset when the Koran gets shot up. That book represents them just like the flag represents you.

Yes, I'm a Christian. Yes, I should be working harder to share what I believe to those that do not believe. Yes, I should be following the teachings of the Bible to the letter.

But, I am a human. Noone is perfect or holy, not even one. Jesus said so himself. The one thing I AM however is forgiven. Forgiven for not working harder and following the word as I should.

Anyone that is willing to rally around the flag of patriotism blindly is dangerous. The Taliban follow blindly. Hitler's allies followed blindly. The Japanese in the 1930's and 40's followed blindly.

I want to follow with my eyes open.
