Fuck them in the west. Their heads are getting too big for their own damn good. A little gas shortage will bring them down to earth a bit.

*laughs uncontrolably* Ya right, just wait til oil hits $150, you'll be at our door with a wedding ring and a smile.

Ya,and Tritum will go back on vac truck sucking out mud tanks for $700.00/day.

jealous ??

It was a Big Eagle Water Truck.. and no thanks. You couldn't pay me enough to go back to the patch.

Hiway driving is more relaxing and easy on the shoulders.

I'm too old for the patch.

Nice lease,looks familiar.

I see, judging by the way your partner backed his hiway truck up and wiped out my tree last week it's probably a GOOD thing your not in the patch anymore.

Are you for real?? What an idiot.

I've never had an accident and have 0 points on my license. Which makes finding a job pretty easy. Also have U.S. and Canada experience from driving trucks to buses.

Good money if you stay safe and stay clean. (no drugs, bens)

To many drive until they are about to drop.. and that's when trouble happens.

I've hiway, gravel, water, vac, city bus..

Not whining. Just being brutally honest. We all get raped by taxes. Its how the feds roll. But in the West since the large explosion of investment in the sands its come down to topics about separation and so on. Come on now, you find a bit of oil and now its like the other 28m Canadians don't even exist. Oil isn't a renewable source of energy.
What exactly is the West to you? There are four provinces in the West, and a population of around 9 million.

Nationalize the Canadian oil industry.

Quit sending off so much of "Canadian" resources south of the border. Should adopt a Canadian first policy.

Build more refineries in Canada and lower the price of gas at the pump to help the middle class.

AND that would be a good catalyst for Alberta to separate from Canada or become the 51st state.

Economic Cost of Federation for Alberta, 1961 – Present
Alberta has, on a per capita basis, been Ottawa's largest single contributor. For example, between 1961 and 1992, Alberta paid $139 billion more to Ottawa than it received back from Ottawa. That is what it cost Albertans to be Canadian. *
And where did the money go? During that time frame, the province of Quebec, despite its large population and vibrant economy, was a net recipient of over $ 168 billion from Ottawa. Alberta was paying Quebec to be Canadian. *
* Source: Dr. Robert Mansell and Ronald Schlenker, "The Provincial Distribution of Federal Fiscal Balances," Canadian Business Economics 3:2 (Winter, 1995), 3-21

We aren't helping out the Atlantic provinces( I'd like to)! Ottawa has been feeding us a pack of lies.

Screw Esso. They're owned by Exxon. Maybe it's time to have those assholes ship some refined gas up here, rather than us having a shortage, while they wallow in "our" cheap crude.
