They held a raffle at Rankin inlet 2 months ago on who would get to shoot the polar bear that was visiting town,a 14 year old girl won and boy was she proud standing over her kill.It made the front page of the Nunatsiuk news.

What do you suppose happens to the seal population if there is no hunt at all? The government subsidizes the hunt to control the seal population, not prop up an industry. They are the rats of the Atlantic ocean.
