Would a thermal imager on a .50 be able to target the engine of these boats? While I'm all for sinking them as soon as they got within 1000m, it would also be funny to shoot out their engines and leave them floundering while a launch pulls upwind with a good supply of vomit gas.

A trillion dollars and how many years later hey still can't win in Iraq.

They could have built a hospital and a school in every city in Iraq for 1/10 of that.

You guys are frigging retards. America has no money and no will to fight anyone anywhere.

They have no credibility...people are losing their jobs and houses at home in the US and you morons think that America wants to step into another war zone? And you warmongers are too stupid o realize that the US is are biggest trading partner..therefore when their economy tanks so will ours.

I wonder how badly things would erupt in the Middle East if Iran and the States went to war...
And if a wartime economy would be implemented in the States, with conscription started up again.
And who would support them? They would need Israel, wonder who in NATO or the UN would join in? Would probably depend on who fired the first shot.

And as much as I don't like Iran, I hope they're smart enough to not create a nuclear bomb or their entire populace will be going to meet Allah. But we should still be carefully watching their nuclear program, you never know... create a small bomb, hand it off to some suicidal fucker who manages to smuggle it into the States and BAM! a Tom Clancy book lol

I dunno, there aren't very many videos online that amuse as much as a Phalanx testing. The sound of that baby just spraying... mmmm.
I gotta find me a video of a Phalanx taking out a Gull, or a Pigeon!

This would be something that would be picked up on radar.

Same here.

Spent a nice holiday at the cottage with family.

Very cool - myself, I had about the same - stayed close to home and off the roads.
