We should clarify that Hate Speech is defined in the Criminal Code of Canada which is a law, not a “regulation”, meaning its an Act passed by parliament.
It's no small point. It means we don't know what hate speech is until some judge tells us.
Because most Ontario judges seem to be Progs you're pleased with that. You seem to think it's a good thing.
Many of the rest of us have seen Canadian judges deliver some pretty nutso decisions.
And speaking of nuts let's not forget Canada has something called "Human Rights Tribunals." If one finds oneself on the wrong end of one of those I don't think He, She, or Whatever wants to rely on them deciding what hate speech is.
