Odds are good that she used it in New York, about half of it was from renewable energy or nuclear energy:

$1:
In 2018, almost one-third of New York's net generation was provided by nuclear power, but one of the state's four nuclear power plants—Indian Point—is scheduled for retirement by 2021. That plant's reactors provide 12% of the state's power, and account for 40% of the state's nuclear generating capacity.

...

New York obtains almost three-tenths of its electricity net generation from renewable sources, including hydroelectric, wind, biomass, and solar photovoltaic (PV) energy.

That's better than most Canadian provinces can claim.

That's because all that hydropower is bought at a discount (loss) rate from Hydro Quebec.

And the article says IT didn't happen but he made sure she got a Tesla 3. I suspect he rented it for her.

"Various outlets are reporting that the “Governator” initially wanted to lend her his personal electric-converted Hummer to get around in, but couldn’t get the vehicle across the country on short notice. Being seen lending her the vehicle wasn’t the point, though, so he did the next best thing: arranged to make sure she has a Tesla Model 3 for the duration of her trip through North America."

The better question is "how is the Tesla's battery made?"

As far as nuclear goes, wasn't our previous Green Messiah - Alexandria Ocasio Cortez - telling us she didn't want that?

But now that us enviro-wackos have a new model, teenage, Swedish, OCD, Messiah we can go back to nuclear, is that what you're saying?

Well, Popular Mechanics tells us that's probably a bad idea. Nuclear is no longer feasible for a variety of reasons according to them.

As as far as hydro goes how much Quebec and Ontario wild country are you prepared to put under water so Greta's handler can drive Arnie's Tesla in the name of environmentalism?

Almost every major river in North America has been dammed by now. The local environmentalists hate it and do their protests but it's not as glamourous as climate change activism has become. Way less likely to meet any nifty and woke celebs out at BC's Site C as opposed to hanging out with Greta at the UN or meeting up with some Hollywood creature at the rally in San Francisco.

The majority of the "solutions" being offered by the activists are utter bunk.

No one has the balls to do what is necessary. So they do nothing, which means the solutions will have to be worse the longer we wait.

Which is what people like Suzuki realize.

The Biosphere will not collapse in 30 years. But we do need to figure out what to switch to that is scalable for energy.

I'd love to see us go nuclear, but then I remember Chernobyl and Fukushima.

Tipping points keep getting predicted and getting passed with no ill effects. So snake oil salesmen like Suzuki just predict new tipping points.

The problem is, we don't know that. Climate is a complicated thing, and there is only so much we can guess about the examples we already have, with Mars and Venus. How much will methane release in the arctic contribute to warming? How much will that additional warming increase water vapour in the air, and how much will that feed back and release more methane? We have no idea when these feedbacks will reach a point when they become self sustaining. But Mars and Venus show us they do become self sustaining.

Oh, but we do know we're on the precipice of a climate disaster, right? Or don't we? Because if we don't why are we listening to AOC, Greta and...oh I don't know...you?
