Kinda funny though.

You're giving me a choice of sharing a bathroom with Caitlyn Jenner or Chastity Bono, and assuming I care.

But for me that's not the issue.

Well thats kind of the point. You are stating that there is some kind of danger from putting transgender people in the washroom that they are comfortable with using that is completely removed when you put them in the washroom they are uncomfortable with. This makes no sense, if it is their supposed deviancy that you are basing this on, then obviously putting them in a room with people whom they are more attracted to creates more sexual tension.

You would be more comfortable with Chastity Bono in the washroom with your daughter than Caitlyn Jenner? Wouldnt the beard confuse her? The argument is actually completely nonsensical.

His whole point is nonsensical.

Deviants will always find ways to be deviant....washroom laws or not.

Having this anti-gay, anti-trans hysteria is just typical of the rabid right to which fiddy is a card-carrying member.

xerxes xerxes:
Me neither. It's a solution in search of a problem. Fiddle can post his stories from all the right wing blogs he wants but it doesn't change the fact that being a pervert in a bathroom is already illegal.

Exactly. Don't make gun laws because bad people won't follow them, but do make bathroom laws because bad people will follow them. Cherry picking logic.

xeres xeres:
These bathroom bill laws do nothing extra to protect people from sexual predators but do everything to make the world worse for a minority. And there's the modern right in a nutshell. There must always be a minority group to malign and fear monger over. They've lost the fight against women voting and being people, civil rights for African-Americans, and most recently, same-sex marriage. Now they've found a new target.

That's partly true. But mostly it's that the right needs a rule book. Their heads explode when a scenario arises that doesn't fit with the rule in the book. They just haven't the ability to think for themselves. They need to run to the rule book for the answer.

Sexual predators will always find a way to prey on innocent victims. They've been doing it before this law and will continue to do it after.

And my point is that is all true, but why make it easier for them to exploit the crime? Why make bathrooms more dangerous than they are?

The Progressive-Regressive point sounds a lot like "There will always be pedophiles, so let's legalize the practice."

$1:
That’s precisely the power that’s been given to any pervert in this province.

And that's precisely the basis of this whole controversy. If you think anyone who identifies as the other sex is a pervert and predator, you're fucked in the head and there's simply no arguing with you.

And if no matter how many times you're told it is not the transsexuals, but criminals who would exploit these new rules who are the danger...oh well...I guess you have to be told again, because that's the only way to break through indoctrination.

No. That's not what I was saying. That's not what I was saying over and over again, but you seem incapable of hearing.

I'm saying creating new rules creates new dangers. And no, I didn't just say from transexuals. I know you heard that, but it isn't what I said.

I said aggressive sex criminals will find it easier to exploit the law. You're allowing them into a women's change room, where they can claim protection of the law if you challenge them. I've shown you factual cases of it being done.

Also I'm saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. The rules have become the standard over time, because they're what works best. You can intrude on the convenience of the many to convenience the few, but let's be honest and admit that's what you want to do.

If that is the status quo how am I trying to fix it by saying maintain things the way they are.

You're the one who wants to change the law.

The irony about making this a 'security' issue?

The most secure bathrooms are those that are designed via 'security through visibility' doctrine.

The only private space is that which is found inside a stall (full visibility and monitoring outside of the stall). Now, obviously, this does make the bathroom a little larger than the original doctrine provides. So, to compensate, most designers, that use this doctrine, only design one common facility, rather than 2 separates.

Meh, the bathrooms designed via security through visibility are generally a lot nicer anyways. More spacious.

@fd
No, North Carolina has created a law to fuck everything up. Canadas laws are only in place so that people whom are maintaining the status quo can do so without persecution from busybodies like yourself.
