Turns out there's a drawback into pounding a "all Germans are forever guilty for what their World War 2 countrymen did" into the last four generations of Germans. No different than constantly plowing into a little kids brain that they're the worst thing that ever existed and will always be scum; that kid is permanently altered after being subject to that kind of thing and will never be whole or complete or be able to stand up for themselves at all when the time comes to do so. That kind of cross-cultural/society-wide smashing of self-esteem, coming both from Germany's former enemies on the outside as well as an internal system of absolutely vicious self-enforced political correctness on the inside, pretty much succeeded in creating a Germany that's now terrified to stand up for itself at all. It's a classic whipped-dog effect where the poor animal has been so horribly treated for so long that it's only reaction to anything anymore is to tuck it's tail between it's legs and hide behind something where no one can see it. What Merkel's done with flooding Germany with these Muslim pigs is just an existential mass suicide, and was probably inevitable. If it hadn't been for NATO filling the place up with troops and weapons for 45 years the West Germans probably would have eventually, and willingly, caved in to the Soviets without a shot being fired just out of the sense of eternal guilt and shame that every German has apparently been overloaded with since the Nuremburg trials. Those German men that allowed this to happen to their women were really only acting according to what the last fifty-plus years of psychological conditioning deliberately did to them. It's probably a reflex to them now, and so is the state clamping down hard on anyone who criticizes the Muslims that were committing the crimes.
Kind of odd in that the brainwashing of German society has produced a Pavlovs-dog reaction not much different than the brainwashing the Nazis performed. Back then it was designed to provoke a hostile hyper-nationalism. Today it's provoked a virtual mass surrender with apparently the entire German nation quite willing to expose it's own throat to the blade that wants to cut it.
