Harper won't do because of racism accusations if he tried as well as too much whining from certain employers who want wages kept down. Trudeau wouldn't do it for pretty much the same reasons, although they'd more than play the racism angle to the max. It's people like Trudeau and Mulcair, whom you support, that think islam is just peaches and cream. And like Thanos said, nowhere did I call for burning of mosques or such. But I do support an immediate moratorium on any immigration from islamic countries.

As for standing up for what I believe, I did over 25 years standing up for what I believe and helping defend this country, and now I'm retired from the military and working towards my future. I'll also add that in 6 different overseas tours, under both UN and NATO command, there was one common thing in every backwards country I deployed to. I'll give you one guess what it was.

What about vouching? I moved down the street but happened to get my updated ID in time. When I was in college I roomed, my DL had the parent's address in another riding and I had to vote under a Section something or other and have two people vouch for my qualifications? Something like that has to be continued.
And what about this new BS about 'being out of the country too long'? The Charter of Rights says you have the right to vote if you're a citizen. How to deal with that? A new riding to represent Canadians abroad, or vote where you last lived?
