The talk about singing your Nation Anthem made me wonder do you have a pledge of allegiance to the Canadian flag like we do to the US flag? We did that everyday in Elementary school not the National Anthem.

No. I don't believe we have such a pledge.

I recall singing "Oh Canada" and the Lords Prayer. One guy who was a JW didn't do these things, but was always told to stand while the rest of us did.

A common sense ruling, government in Canada is secular, so unless every religion get's their prayers during prayer time, no religion can.

I went to a Catholic school, so there were prayers in the morning. In the public schools in Ontario, there are none. I so wanted to goto a public school. At least my college was public.

What part of his statement is not tolerant?

"I don't understand why these yo yos ...."

The above can be considered an insult and the way it is used seems to be meant as one.

Thus a sign of intolerance thru insult.

Ahh no. An Insult is not Intolerance. Giving people a Moment of Silence to Pray to their God/whatever is Tolerance.

And demanding it's removal isn't.

Give me a valid reason why one religion should have privilege over all others? The only way to show tolerance in this situation is too either have no prayer at all, or a moment of silent for each person to pray silently to whatever god or whatever they believe, or if they are agnostic atheist or gnostic atheist, to check their e-mail on their phones.

Don't bother, he doesn't even understand the difference between a moment of silence, which nobody has a problem with, including the SCC, and an out loud prayer to a particular deity during a government function. Yet he would shit his britches if somebody at at government function started a function with "Allahu Akbar..."

Seeing that you're new and like to dive in without looking......he's not a Christian, or even remotely religious.

Then why would he be implying that Christianity has special privilege?

Haven't you ever defended the rights of something you're not part of?

Privilege and rights are not the same thing. Why should Christianity have rights over all other religions?
