Top Gear is Britain's - and the world's - most successful TV show. It is the most watched factual show on Earth, with 350 million viewers globally. Jezza IS "Mr Top Gear" and if they get rid of him and replace him with gingernut Chris Evans (who is the favourite should Jezza go) then I'm sure the show would lose a lot of viewers.

Clarkson, May and Hammond should just take Top Gear to ITV or Channel 4 or Channel 5 who, by all accounts, are now desperately trying to get Clarkson.

I don't think Clarkson wanted out. Why would he? Top Gear is the most popular TV show on the planet and he was making a huge wad of cash from it. I'm not surprised if he wants out now, though, after they way the Beeb has treated him.

Yeah, you're right. It's gone out of usage, somewhere along the line in this PC world, I think.

The advent of female sailors/Marines PC'd a lot of things out of existence. The Shellback ceremonies these days are pathetic compared to the grueling ordeals they had been just thirty years ago and what's been lost in that kind of thing is the unit cohesion that these activities typically yield.

It's hard to imagine but the instructors for SERE training have to be sensitive these days or else they get in trouble...which totally undermines the whole f***ing point of SERE training: to try to give a trainee a realistic experience so they're prepared for it if they encounter the real thing in the real world.

So because of the goddam PC police people will die.

But their precious little feelings will be intact.

Clarkson is about as subtle as a barbed wire enema; but the show is freaking hilarious. He might come off as a dick, but he's not always wrong because of that.

I also got a pretty good laugh out of May's "Man Labs" series.

IMO, the show is fun to watch. It's a comedy show with car porn. But my god, the angst we see on these pages, guess it's really some sort of religious presentation.
