Thanos Thanos: It wasn't that epic. Not epic enough to be terrorism.

Seems the meltdown is still on-going.
Only to troll and derail threads, and be an asshole in general.

Hyack Hyack: Regina Regina: PluggyRug PluggyRug: One could surmise that all radical Muslims are mentally ill. That is probably more accurate than anything else. Or totally brainwashed by a religion that's stuck in the 10th century.... Huh. Common sense DOES still exist. Go figure.

Even if it is terrorism, what kind of person should we be watching out for, idiots like this guy... or crazies like Justin Bourque.

He targeted symbols of authority, his own lawyer says he was involved with far right pro gun websites. Of course the same people on this forum who say the Parliament guy was a terrorist will now claim this guy wasn't. they were both terrorists, brainwashed by ideology.

If Islam brainwashes people, how do we have so many devout Muslims living perfectly ordinary, peaceful lives. It's important to distinguish between Islam and Islamism, you know just as with normal Christians and the fanatical ones.

It's important to distinguish between Islam and Islamism, you know just as with normal Christians and the fanatical ones. I'm completely aware of that. Point being that just because someone's Muslim, doesn't automatically make them a terrorist. There are plain and simple criminals within all races, religions, colours and creeds. We don't have to give labels to everyone to sensationalize every act of stupidity that occurs.

I'm confused. I don't think this guy was a plain and simple criminal - they usually act for personal gain. I think he was nuts, I think you have to be nuts to be a jihadi, and i think he found an outlet for his insanity that provided justification. Unfortunately, radical Islam seems to do that a lot these days. It's like part of the religion has gone batshit crazy. As someone wrote, you don't see converts to Buddhism doing this.

Meanwhile members of the extreme Left are saying Kevin Vickers should be charged with murder.

To prove that it's an act of terrorism, you must prove intent.
Terrorism is defined... Systematic use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective.
Pretty difficult to figure out what this guy's intent was, but it's a lot closer to terrorism than Justin Bourque.

Of course the same people on this forum who say the Parliament guy was a terrorist will now claim this guy wasn't. they were both terrorists, brainwashed by ideology. As does Tim McVey, as does the IRA, as do many that have been prosecuted as mere criminals and murderers. I can't believe you and I agree on something. I may not necessarily agree that they were brainwashed by ideology but certainly drawn to it by each travelling through a personal travel. By all initial impressions they are all "nuts". It's not for you and I to determine just how nuts they were because, to some degree, both of us have or had mental issues at some point. Britain's most despised dole snatching lawyer/imam Anjem Chowdary I most certainly would not classify as nuts. In fact during his university days "Andy" drank cider and read porn just like any other uni student. Now he leads and counsels jihadis like our two soldier killing terrorists through twitter and one of Lee Rigby's killers through personal contact.

Lemmy Lemmy: OnTheIce OnTheIce: The way you've been acting, that's all you're worthy of. I just can't fathom how some people go through life angry all the time. Who's angry? I don't get mad at you Lemmy....you're hardly worth that. I do spend a lot of time laughing at you pretending to be a big-shot on the Interweb. Do internet forums make you mad? If so, perhaps an some life outside the Internet may be in order.
