This is the same type of political correctness bullshit that was created over the proposed of the FDNY flag memorial.

I recall during that time when so many people died needlessly, firefighters were morning losses , and the nation was in shock.
Look at the fucking image and you can feel the pain.

So out of the rubble a piece of metal in the shape of a cross was decided to be a sign from God and hope. It mustered people's faith, and they worshiped it, literally.
But this is due to their faith , which they will fight for.
It got them through tough times as does so many religions of mankind.

You want to piss on that!

You feel your above that to the point an iconic image that rallies the mourners and the still bereaving is something to be mocked.

It's part of of the human race and it's at the very least a coping mechanisms.

It's cheaper than drugs and alcohol and less damaging.

There is nothing fanatical going on with this piece except in those that mock and piss on it.

This is the exact reason why at least Equal time is the right thing to do. Christians were not the only ones to have died there.

Yeah but this was the only religious iconic figure they found and used at the time.

there were no Menorahs or those Islamic symbols or any Genesa figures to be found.

i'm sure if some twisted metal came up in the form of Shiva you would have seen it.

Let them have their cake and eat it to . They paid the price and are still paying it.
it's about this moment is it not?

No, a "Religious Icon" was not found by anyone. What was found is a cross shaped piece of rubble that a Christian decided looked like a Religious Icon.

Then why do you have a problem with a piece of rubble?

Because Sandorski is like so many atheists who invest far more time fighting God than most Christians invest in worshipping Him.

Really, for people who insist they don't believe in God they sure as heck spend a lot of time obsessing over Him.

God, this shit is ridiculous. If it doesn't concern you, why the hell bother? It's like gay marriage. If you don't want one, don't have one. If you don't see this piece of rubble as a cross, don't freaking worship it!

Get over it already! Let them have their cross if they want to, have them have their marriage. It won't make anyone lose any sleep.

Not every such windmill is a windmill.

so i ask you this.
Out of the rubble something that inspires people and helps get them through the worse thing they more than likely ever witnessed or will witness, is used to rally moral.

Really it was a moral boost and something they helped them deal with their loss.

And your upset about it to the point you come off nasty about it.

What do you do at funerals. Scream at everyone there is no God.

Do you find yourselves in cemeteries screaming at people crying and placing a little crucifix against a head stone.

what about Santa clause , tell me you don;t…not in malls at christmas time..

Just as the so called "ground zero mosque aka terror center" was offensive to one set of nuts this cross which btw I think looks stunning and can see how it could have brought some solace to many in the middle of such a terrible tragedy is offensive to another set of nuts.

Well no one should really bother with nuts getting offended. These set of atheist have become exactly what they despise and don't believe in and became atheists in the first place for.Needless to say the irony is lost on them.

This is really simple. No "Cross" or equal time for all Religions/Non-Religions affected by the tragedy.

So great that the atheists want all reigions represented and their non religious believe covered also. Very contridictory statement by an avoud atheiest IMO. To accomidate you in your non religous I've found the perfect area for you. You see all that empty space of side walk around the "cross", it has nothing there, it means nothing to anyone and holds no specail relationship to any religion. That is for all the Atheists thus you have far more space aloted to your non religion ideals and wants then any religous groups could or will ever have. Enjoy and you're welcome.
