Public_Domain Public_Domain: I recommend taking a look... It's actually quite nice. Olympic standard-ish. Probably not as clean as Vancouver on the ground level, but still, it isn't completely horrific. Public_Domain Public_Domain: And now here's 40+ photos of the place not looking so grand.
The difference between looking good at 100m vs 1m. Look closely enough, you'll see garbage in alleyways and ditches here too.

Yeah it's all a matter of perspective. Those cheap shot pics neat to be taken on a bright sunny day, then we'll all see the truth, boy oh boy. Like this one for instance... Here's something else requiring an injection of smiley-face perspective. http://sochi.fbk.info/en/award/It's an interactive map of all the corruption that's been taking place behind the scenes. Hey, I missed those perspective pics. Was there one of the Hotel without a roof on a bright shiny day? What about the yellow water? Were there bright, shiny day yellow water pics?

Public_Domain Public_Domain: Hey, I like that photo, it shows Russia is loosening its strictness on that whole "homophobia" thing. ... and the Russians are thinking: "Look at us! We're right up to date! We've got flush toilets, now!"

As I`ve said before, this is actually quite common, especially in Asia...even the developed areas. The sewage treatment plants have trouble with the processing the paper, and the pipes clog
