Companies should be spending money training Canadians. Just put a monetary value on that training, and make the trainee stay with the company for a certain period of time or they have to pay the money back. I'm sure all sorts of young or unemployed people would jump at a deal like that.

Jealous - not at all. I've been to Phoenix and have no interest in going back. If I was going to be a snowbird, I can think of far better places than that.

On 70 grand a year you won't be snowbirding anywhere in your lifetime.
