Really, Vaughan and his chums are the reason that a Neanderthal got voted in as mayor.

damn I hate it when people make comments like this based on someone's appearence.

And yet if Ford was a slim, well spoken man with all the same ideas and vision, he wouldn't be a neanderthal at all.

Don't give me any BS that it's not about how he looks....ideas and action don't matter when you're a fat fuck. He's a "fat slob" so he must be a neanderthal.

I could't give a fuck how fat or thin he is. He's pulled enough bonehead moves to rate my label. I wouldn't be voting for him on what I've seen him do, not his weight.

You think he's a towering intellectual? Really?

We shall see. Sadly for the people of down town Toronto, it's the evil people in the Suburbs that will decide the election once again.

I don't always defend Tory's, Eyebrock. That's awfully ignorant of you to say considering my recent comments in other topics.

So now you hate suburbanites too. 8O

We often have politicians and athletes act like morons in public, but that doesn't make them any less effective as is the case with Mayor Ford.

Do you ignore the good a veteran officer when he makes a mistake in his personal life? I didn't think so.

At any rate, your initial comment that he's been "ineffective" as mayor just simply isn't true. He's been quite effective despite being a fat Neanderthal.

Wow. You've got a vastly different definition of "effective" than most people do.

I expect results from my politicians, Lemmy. I expect them to live up to their platform as best as they can, but would rather them not make big promises that we now demand from them.

Ford has provided results for Toronto.

Effective, in some people's minds, would be making election promises, breaking them but being nice and chummy with other members of council.

Toronto doesn't need some ass-kissing tool running the City.

Not at all, considering I'm one of them. Luckily, I don't live in Toronto anymore. It's the people in the suburbs that'll decide the Toronto elections once again, they're tired of being screwed over and over again by a Council that can't see past the downtown core.

A caveat like that should effectively end your commentary on anything outside of TO and the suburbs, drugs, international affairs, natives, and gays.

Unless of course you are a gay Mowhawk retired in Greece smoking pot. 8O

Blowing off one's foot with a shotgun is an effective way to cure a hangnail, in your world. That's the sort of results you've gotten from Baby Huey.

Ah, so results are only good of they are done in a warm and fuzzy manor?

Speaking about things you know about first hand, is far from making a personal judgement of a person you've only read internet articles about.

True, but most often, I get involved in discussions that I have experience with or personal knowledge about.

I wouldn't throw around comments like "truer words" about some random mayor from another city in Canada that I know little about.

But hey, you're welcome to have your opinion about "Fat Bastard".

Yeah, there's a few inventions you might want to look up when you get the gumption to leave your log hut - the TV, newspaper and most astonishingly, the Internet.

They provide all sorts of useful (and not so useful) information on all sorts of topics - even mayors of cities several thousand km from where I live.

For the record, I wasn't agreeing with EB calling him fat - even though he is - I was agreeing with EB calling him a screw-up (although I think EB used the term Neanderthal).

You should check them out sometime - then perhaps you wouldn't seem so thick! :P

Cool, then if you enjoy making a judgement of someone that way, all the power to ya! [B-o]

To call anyone a "screw-up" who's accomplished so much despite his social instability just makes little sense.
