Well, you're right, I have to retract my statement. But these "lone wolves" seem to add up, there seem to be more of them than you want to admit. Ie Muslims who aren't' about killing Jews or anybody for that matter, who do just want to live in peace like everybody else. And as I've been saying, we need to encourage these people and make common cause with them. Not push them away by spouting hatred of Islam. And I, not alone here, even many security people say that's the way to go, far more effective than only trying to clamp down on the crazies.

So encouraging these people and making a common cause them will somehow stop producing the radicals. I don't think so.

It will, but mostly the non-radicals are more far more likely to turn in the radicals. As I say, it's what the security people are for too, because they recognized that just trying to suppress the jihadis is impossible. We need the mainstream muslims see it's in their best interests to turn in the nutbars, and that we will protect them if they do.

But Andy, aren't I the guy who questioned "how many lone wolves make a pack?" Wouldn't this suggest to you I'm aware of their numbers? See this is your problem. You hear stuff that nobody said, and don't hear direct quotes.

But surely you're not suggesting that because "lone wolves" exist that's all there is. Cause, c'mon...that would be ridiculous.

French Muslims show off personality traits that make them so loveable. Not necessarily oppressed in any meaningful way, more just lazy and don't want to work for a living. Would rather be rappers and sell drugs that get a real job. Easy route taken, indulge in blaming the state and the Jews for problems that they're more than capable of fixing themselves.

I suspect that the same is true of the inhabitants of the inner-city ghettoes in the US and too many of the specimens on Native reserves in Canada. There is no real 'oppression' to speak of, most of them are just a bunch of dissolute punks who are too lazy and stupid to try to make something better of themselves.

Charlie Hebdo resurrected its irreverent and often provocative newspaper today, featuring a caricature of the prophet Mohammed on the cover.

The magazine, which normally sells around 30,000 copies a week, had an initial unprecedented print run of three million. This has been increased to five million after copies were snapped up today.

Issues of the magazine had sold out across Paris news kiosks this morning within minutes.

In other news Al Qaeda in Yemen has claimed responsibility for the Charlie Hebdo attack and on the radio this morning a State Department spokestool said that there's reason to believe the claim may be justifiable. Seems there's evidence the attackers have traveled to Yemen in the recent past.

France is now arresting and rapidly prosecuting people who defend or justify terrorism and they've arrested at least 54 people and have already convicted and sentenced some of them to prison.

I must have missed something in the previous pages or this is the wrong link?

What I saw was blonde on right saying there are all kinds of crazy zealots out there and they all need a beat down. Blonde on the left saying there are only Islamic zealots out there. Then adding that the Pres or VP should have flown 9 or so hours one way just to walk down the street with the others who drove or flew 20 minutes to get there.
