I love how this whole conversation is about weed rather than some of the truly important issues they discussed that would actually help our democracy, like the preferential ballot.

Weed is the glamour issue. Preferntial ballot is the kind of thing I'll pay attention to when a party that's actually in a position to do something about it starts talking. Most of 'em seem to forget about those kinds of things as soon as they're in a position where the status-qou benefits them.
