That said, leave the man the fuck alone when he's at his home. Even moronic public figures deserve their privacy when they're not at work.

You know his actions effect millions of people in their homes in everyday life. If you can't hack a little push back, don't run for mayor. You signed up for it, deal with it like a man, not a little bitch. What a fucking douche.

Yet, I have suspicions you wouldn't say the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot and it was a more liberal politician who got harassed by an unfunny "comedian" at their home. Typical double standard of your ilk.

ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:
Ford is not helping his case and image
$1:
Toronto’s 911 dispatchers are accusing the city’s mayor, Rob Ford, of calling them "bitches" and hurling a string of profanity at them during an emergency call early Monday.

Ford called for police assistance when Mary Walsh, part of the CBC-TV comedy show This Hour Has 22 Minutes, ambushed him in his driveway dressed as the character Marg Delahunty, with cameras rolling.

In the video of the encounter, Ford seems at first to be playing along, but becomes increasingly agitated, asking, “Can I go to my car please?”

Ford eventually walked back inside his home and called 911 — not once, but twice.

$1:
Sources say Ford turned on the dispatcher, yelling: “You … bitches! Don’t you f--king know? I’m Rob f--king Ford, the mayor of this city!”

Recordings of the call have spread like wildfire throughout the police service — even though officially Toronto police spokesman Mark Pugash tells CBC News they can't discuss a private call to the 911 service.

$1:
The situation comes just a week after the Toronto Police Services Board approved a new police budget for 2012 that included a 4.6 per cent budget reduction, but not the 10 per cent cut demanded by Ford.

Under the terms of the deal, Chief Bill Blair will reduce his operating budget for next year, but won't be forced to lay off any officers. The budget plan also calls for a further 5.4 per cent reduction in 2013.

Oh Robbie, that is what we call a "bed shittin'".

Have fun lying in that.

How the City's media just can't wait to fry this guy.

Let's get that Harvard retard back in to fuck up the City a little more. He looks better in a suit and isn't fat, so he's clearly the better choice.

Miller was fat too when he was elected. In that respect, at least, Ford could learn something from Miller.

Toronto mayor lost cool in 911 call; admits using F word that wasn't for Ford

http://ca.news.yahoo.com/toronto-mayor-said-lost-cool-911-call-using-171044031.html

$1:
According to the CBC on Thursday, Ford allegedly asked the emergency operator: "Don’t you (expletive) know? I’m Rob (expletive) Ford, the mayor of this city."
The report which did not specify its sources also said he called the operators names.
In a statement Thursday, Ford admitted to being frustrated at the police response time, but called allegations he made "foul and derogatory comments" toward the 911 staff "absolutely false."
"After being attacked in my driveway, I hope I can be excused for saying the F-word," Ford said in the statement.

I thought it was bad before when he felt the need to waste 911 resources for something frivolous. Now we know he really believes that he should get priority service because he's Rob "Fucking" Ford.

So much for the Toronto Conservative dynasty, and the hat-trick.

Horrifying. I can see how he felt his life was in danger.

He's toast at the next election.

Politics is about how you come across to the masses, it doesn't matter if you are a good manager. Interpersonal skills are key. Rob continues to show his arse over piddly things and it will lose him his job as mayor.

I have suspicions that if you made up a story that never really happened, like maybe you were a plumber and your name was Frank (or whatever), and you wanted to open a plumbing company but you can't cause the president is black and you're not a licensed plumber anyways, and you told your story at a tea party rally but you called yourself Joe, you might think that qualifies you to run for congress as a Republican. And you'd be right - because the bar is actually that low on the right. Your ilk think its a limbo contest when actually everyone else is doing the high jump. And we on the left applaud that. It take too much effort to make fun of the left when the right serves it up so easily every day.

WTF are you talking about? lHe would actually have to say what you presume he would say in order for it to be a double standard. You need to get some cream for your fiery vulva, because it is making you very grumpy and irrational.

It's all about image.

Toronto doesn't care about substance or policy....the mayor is fat and sweaty....he can't be good as his job.

Yea, because he should be generally accepted for the media to trespass on your private property.

Imagine the outrage if Sun news accosted a Liberal politician in his driveway.

Can't wait for the plug to be pulled on the CBC.

This is in fact, what the Sun does and acknowledges as completely acceptable (commendable even) when they send out Ezra Levant on his free speechin tirades.

Pressure mounts for Mayor Ford to release tape of 911 call

If Rob Ford asks Toronto police for a recording of the 911 calls he made after he was ambushed at his home by This Hour Has 22 Minutes, they will release it to him.

• He said, she said: Mary Walsh vs Rob Ford (I strongly recommend clinking this link)

“It could be released to him and he could do with it whatever he chose,” said police spokesman Mark Pugash.

The disputed contents of that call have stirred fresh controversy for the embattled mayor following a CBC News report alleging Ford berated the 911 dispatcher in a profanity-laced tirade.

Ford admitted to using the F-word in the call, but has denied insulting the female operator, calling the CBC report “absolutely false.”

But pressure was mounting Thursday against Ford from within City Hall to obtain and release the tapes to set the allegations straight.

Left-wing councillor Joe Mihevc said “it's absolutely important for the tapes to be released to clear the air,” adding Torontonians should know how their elected officials treat city staff.

OK, admittedly I'm not in Toronto, but I gather that he's not exactly hittig home runs on the substcbe and policy front either.

Still, I guess it is like a real-life Peter Griffin. That's gotta count for something.
