BRAH BRAH:
When I was in School working at Home Depot a Muslim employee was let go for continuing to wash his feet in the public washroom after multiple warnings not to..

What kind of backwards shit is Islam?

All this tension in the World, people washing their feet, not eating...it's some funny shit when you step back and look at it.

All for what?

It's not backwards shit because apparently washing ones feet is part of following Islam but to do it at Home Depot, ewww.

Well to do it in a sink is pretty bad, hence why I think baby wipes would have solved his problem. Personally I think the habit of washing is one of better things about Islam. When Europeans were going 6 months without a bath and getting all sorts of illnesses many Muslims were actually preventing the spread of disease. Kind ahead of the curve really, but its sad to see the state of some Islamic nations now.

It's 2011. I hope that over the last few hundred years these people have learned how to bathe themselves and don't have to result to century old rituals.

It's damn weird!

Why can't we all just be decent people without having a crutch of worship?

Some people take comfort in it. I like mac and cheese, I know its pretty bad for me but partake in it. For some other people it's smoking, or beer, or watching Judge Judy others it's religion.

No one said you couldn't be decent without religion, I think most people would agree you can be. As long as your gris-gris doesn't impact anyone in a negative or annoying way have at it.

I agree with you, GF.
The only thing I have a problem with is people who think that you can only be "decent", or "have morals" when you believe...

funny...some of the most immoral people I know of, claim to be 'religious'. they tend to be the 'Sunday Christians'.

But you don't blow yourself up over your love for Mac and Cheese.

You don't go to war because the CEO of Kraft told you that those who like Velveeta are the infidel and they must die.

I don't but I am not insane.

If you are willing to go and kill someone because of your gris-gris then you are insane.

If an event happened where the CEO of Kraft urged people to kill, you would blame the CEO not Mac and Cheese.

I don't agree at all.

There's wars going around all over this World, people being killed in the name of "Insert God Name Here"....I don't think all the people are "insane" just religious retards.

"God" tells us that gays are bad, so do we blame God when a Christian group stomps on a few gay dudes at a Pride event?

Do we blame "Allah" when a Muslim blows up a bus of people in his honour?
$1:
Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

People are getting injured and killed all over the World because each side believe their "God" says they should be doing such and such.

This World would be a much better place without Religion.
