OnTheIce OnTheIce: Macguyver Macguyver: I don't care who this guy is or what party he belongs to. Go shit in your hat. Who are you trying to kid? Your tactic is getting old an annoying. You guys are all for letting the foxes in the hen house, then when someone says we got foxes in the hen house you degrade them and tell them to prove they are foxes. Real mature. Next time you talk to someone in the security/intelligence industry you ask them about this. They'll say the exact same thing I'm saying. Then you put a little tinfoil hat on his head and let see who the idiots are. Apparently our government and it's information don't mean much to you folks. This is basic stuff - I find it difficlut to believe I'm the only one not happy about a married senior elected official making passes at the chinese spys.

Pop Quiz... Who said this? $1: ... has lashed out at the country’s spy agency for claiming foreign agents are influencing Canadian politicians, and has urged Prime Minister Stephen Harper to denounce the “baseless” charges of CSIS chief Richard Fadden before they damage international relations.

I handle Internet security and network infrastructure and work directly with the House of Commons. I know more about the HOC and privacy than you could ever imagine. You're exaggerating. You have chicken little syndrome. You're a keyboard warrior trying to pretend you have a clue. You watch too many movies.

But it is not baseless and Olivia Chow has a lot to learn about the real world. Suppose your secrets are liks sand on a beach. The Russians will move in in the middle of the night and steal every speck of sand on the beach. The Chinese will send one person at a time to steal one speck of sand each. Different methods, same result. This in not my theory, it came from someone from CSIS who debriefed employees at a company I worked for. If you guys chose to be ignorant then so be it.

So you're saying we need more security at the beach? ![huh? [huh]](./images/smilies/icon_scratch.gif)

Gunnair Gunnair: Macguyver Macguyver: 4 groups never to trust when it comes to espionage in the order of their capabilities, allies or not: 1) USA 2) China 3) Israel 4) Russia
Wake up folks this is basic security, as simple and basic as putting a password on your computer and having an anti-virus program running. There is no sense doing any of that if you are going to invite the enemy into your home and let him use your computer. Are you like, serious? Meanwhile your forum buddies are quoting CSI people about what a danger Chinese espionage is. Certainly we've had instances of the other 3 as well. I think you got all frothy again, trying to get at Mcguyver any way you can, so you say shit you don't really believe.

Speaking of whining fucking hacks... what a shock you'd whore yourself out to the first hyper partisan to show up, cheer leading like a bitch. Don't think, by the way, it makes you post like a retard. Stick with cut and paste - cut and paste is your friend.

You've devolved to the point where you use the words "bitch", "retard" and "hack" in two sentences. How about we stick to the topic? No need for swearing and personal insults, we all have points of view and we're all adults.

No need for swearing and personal insults, we all have points of view and we're all adults. I have... to the bitch, retard, and hack that I responded to. Please... play the forum cop when you get mod status. The topic at hand is the gross over reaction of the typical partisans to what is little more (so far) than an MP getting caught writing flirty emails to a Chinese reporter. That's it. Full stop. Nothing more to see here (so far) unless you are one of the hyper-partisan/chicken little types that want to knee jerk around so much you look like you're goose stepping. That's the topic. I've said repeatedly that this should be allowed to play out more before everyone loses their collective shit. It seems that that is somehow illogical and partisan while jumping to massive conclusions, baying for blood, and lamenting the loss of the Canadian industrial complex to the Chinese through these emails is somehow the sane response. No. No it's not.
