If a bouncer at a club is expected to handle people with knives and guns without the option of a taser or weapon of any kind, I think the RCMP can hand a kid with one.

I dont know of any bar where bouncers are the 'first line of defense' against an armed belligerent. When ever I have seen anyone give a bouncer a tough time, cops were called immediately. You should really kick your bouncer gig and just go full out superhero, the way you make it sound you're like batman.

Which would you prefer: the taser, the asp, or the sparta kick to the face?

Maybe they ought to just shoot the kid in th leg.

There are several ways to disarm a man wielding a knife and police are well trained how to do it. A child with a knife should be easy.

All of which are designed for when you don't have any other alternative than techniques that can result in your death if you mess up.
