I'm grateful that there is a 'cute as a button' spokesman for moderates.


since when did moderates start using 'heavenly kings' as their spokesmen? a true moderate can easily see through the junk that is the lama's ramblings. he is a huckster of the first order.

Harmony is the message, and the applause from the audience seems to indicate agreement.


yes, harmony. it's a neat gig: the born-leader of a feudal state preaching harmony. naturally he preaches harmony. he wouldn't want to find himself on the bottom of the pile that he rules, so he asks that everyone just relax and accept things.

Beats the heck out of fighting an un-winnable war between ideologues. Dalai Lama, Ghandi, Mother Teresa, etc have a lot of valuable lessons for us to stop the escalation of violence.

interestingly enough, each of those people have not only thrived on the 'unwinnable' war, but contributed greatly to its continuation too.

you've covered lama, gandhi and saint T. .. i can only assume Oprah is next up..

hucksters. all of them.
