I doubt that the guy is in any way actually a Nazi, just another history geek. He is however guilty of horrible lack of judgement and foresight. I'm pretty sure everyone in the western world knows just how sensitive people get about anything connected to Nazism, and anyone with political ambitions should know better than this.
