Politicians do that stuff constantly. They go to Jewish temples in proper Dress, Sikh Temples in proper Dress, Mosques in proper Dress, etc etc etc.

To the best of my knowledge ther is no Islamic Outfit. The white robes are more of a local thing. The Kufi or whatever you call that skull cap I think is the same thing. It's just something local although I do see some American Muslims wearing it.

I know a very religious Islamic Doctor who has a prayer room in his office who is religious as you can get is entirely comfortable in his western outfit as he plays the five times a day that his faith prescribes. He also is the nicest person you would ever want to meet.

I had the privalige of telling some ignorent, Zenophob to F off when he made a rather ugly comment about this man's faith.
