Btw what exactly is their argument now for not letting the center being built
Emotions.
That's about right, There is some fear that we will let in some "evil genie". Many of
the folks that lost people on 9-11 see ISLAM as the enemy as we saw the Japanese
as the enemy after the Pearl Harbor attack. I lost people in 9-11as as well.
I realize that the individuals who did did this are terrorist bastards who need to be
hunted down and destroyed. The fact that the were Muslims is a minor point, they were
a bunch of murdering bastards. Hitler was a Roman Catholic so what? He was a murdering
bastard as well, him being a Roman Catholic is a minor point as well.
I know a lot of Muslims who are good decent people. If Rodney and James were alive I
don't think they would mind the mosque being built.
People here do have the right to protest. The have the right to protest against the Mosque. Every body who lost someone there handles it differently and I do understand
the emotion real well. 1 will say that people who oppose the Mosque should not be categorized as RACIST. Some may well be racist, but all of us are people still in pain from the ones we lost. I feel I can can see beyond the pain and have have a different sense of Islam.
